Who we are

We are two Mechanical Engineers that graduated from UNC Charlotte with motorsports concentrations. Coming from New Jersey and West Virginia, neither of us had been exposed to racing until we came down to North Carolina for college. We quickly fell in love with the sport and the culture surrounding it. Our favorite part of the year is going to the two races at Charlotte Motor Speedway and throwing a huge tailgate. While we enjoy watching other races at home and hosting watch parties, being at the track in person just hits different. In spring of 2025 we were inspired to create our own drinking game to play while watching races on TV with the goal of bringing some of the rambunctiousness from the track right to your couch! Because we are constantly inventing and designing random projects we decided to create an company and started Weekend Shift, LLC.
